good. drm is annoying as hell. that said, hopefully people dont pirate it. the witcher 2 was a masterpiece, im certain this will be equal quality. support devs like this!
also between this and dark souls 2, the next gen systems are going to deliver two of the best gaming experiences possible close to launch. how awesome.
personally i think they should just skip it. its not worth wasting the resources, we know its not gonna sell, and they are going to be lucky if any retailers even want to stock it.
to top all that off, the console market in japan has shrunk so significantly that it would prob be difficult to even break profit. plus they would once again need to try to get Japanese devs to make many more jrpgs and all those games.
just give up and focus on the territories tha...

and the 360 had tons of jrpgs in the beginning as microsoft pushed hard to enter that market. they just gave up after a while because it still didnt help
yeah it was 360. i installed, downloaded all the patches, started the game, it froze and dropped the connection literally after the crash in the beginning and then i couldnt log on for the rest of the night. i was annoyed at paying 60 bones for a game i couldnt even play
anyone else having trouble even logging on? its pretty irritating. just once id like to see a dev release an online multiplayer game and actually be prepared for it
nobody ever said they were athletic lol but you said it yourself "sit around gaming 12+ hrs a day" to be a pro gamer thats the time and dedication it takes. im certainly not willing to do that and most people arent in much of the same way that i dont want to train 8+ a day for the olympics. its still a sport, just two different kinds. plus watching what some of these peeps can do, esp in fighting games is very impressive
i dont think marketing, price, or a lack of games is the issue. im almost certain its because the wii soured people on nintendo. most people i know who bought one, including myself, never used it and regretted their purchase. then the wii u drops with a name that is virtually the same so now everyone is like "why would i buy an updated wii? i never used mine"

I think that's more preference. I actually much prefer where the dpad and analog sticks are located on the 360 controller. I think its in a weird spot on the PS controller. Think about it for a min, growing up the dpad was always located above your thumb and it was the primary input for moving. With that in mind, if the primary input for moving switches to a stick, then naturally it should take the place of the dpad. At least that's how I feel. I much prefer the 360 controllers design...
the game is amazing. the better you get the better it gets too. once i was pulling off combos, throwing dumpsters and knocking dudes to lower and high levels, the game just got so sick. day 1 buy
Or its more, don't fix what's not broke. The d-pad is the only real issue with the controller. Fix that, leave the rest. Sony realized this when they tried the boomerang when ps3 was first announced. Nabisco constantly tries to improve the Oreo but the reality is, the first is still the best. That's just how it is sometimes.
dude seriously? its a game and its based off comic book movies. i think its a safe bet that realism was thrown out long ago, last a checked nobody has super strength, laser eyes, or can fly and as of now, aliens are still unknown to us. so if anything is not right, its probably the second half of your comment. nailed it on the online part about the rest though. still wont stop me though
i liked premium themes but ms sucks at pricing. if they warmed up to the $1 bill a little more i can almost guarantee they would sell more of the useless sh*t buuuuuuuut, nobody wants to pay 2-3 or more dollars for crap like that. thats 2 hot and spiceys from mc donalds

agreed. there will always be cheap people who wont buy but most will if the quality is good enough.
also piracy can occasionally work to their benefit. example: im big into heavy metal but there are a lot of crap bands. more often than not if im curious about someone i will pirate their shit. if i love it, then i buy all their future materials and see them in concert. not everyone does that but im sure many do. same could work for games too
